Developer Aggro Crab has announced that its underwater souls-like adventure, Another Crab’s Treasure, has sold over 150,000 units worldwide.
This news follows the title selling 30,000 units on launch day and 100,000 units in four days.
The game is a souls-like title featuring the player controlling a hermit crab named Krill at the bottom of the ocean, fighting his way through bigger and more intimidating foes with the player being able to use different powers based on what object they are currently wearing as a shell.
Throughout this action-adventure, players aim to find a crab’s shell in a setting overrun with pollution and various threats. There are over 50 shells one can utilize, each with varying effects and uses. Further, as expected of the genre, there is quite a degree of challenge to overcome, though the developers did state that those unfamiliar with souls-likes will be able to enjoy this game as well.
Another Crab’s Treasure is available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass for PC and console.
