Gryphline recently revealed a brand-new trailer for the Hypergryph-developed mobile RPG Ex Astris. This time, the trailer focuses on showcasing the various gameplay aspects of the title, with brief explainations on the many mechanics that players can utilize in combat, as well as several aspects of world exploration.
Ex Astris is a real-time/turn-based hybrid premium 3D RPG where players explore a planet in a tidally locked orbit, a realm where the sun never sets. Split into two distinct hemispheres by massive ring-shaped storms, this planet is home to bizarre creatures and intelligent beings remarkably similar to humans. On an RV journey, players will take on the role of the Investigator, and explore foreign lands with diverse local cultures, collect memories of extraordinary encounters, and unravel the mystery behind a looming storm.
Furthermore, the Obscuran Maneuver system introduces a unique blend of turn-based and fast-paced action, allowing players to counter enemy attacks effectively and execute strategic team combos. The progression experience in Ex Astris is built around team assembly, where understanding companion traits is crucial for team strength. Players can engage in crafting, cooking, puzzle-solving, and combat, all while uncovering the enigmas of Allindo and facing the challenges that lie ahead.
Ex Astris will be coming to Android via Google Play and iOS via the App Store on February 27th, 2024 (UTC).
- In case you missed it, a collaboration with Arknights was announced.
