Pahdo Labs, which is comprised of ex-Capcom, WayForward, and Riot Games developers, revealed their first game Starlight Re:Volver on PC via Steam in 2025.
The game is described as a magical girl action-adveture, but it feature co-op roguelike gameplay with inspiration from games like Hades. Early Access is planned for Steam in 2025, but the team released a new trailer showing off the colorful visuals and gameplay concept.
Starlight Re:Volver is an upcoming anime-inspired action-adventure game featuring co-op multiplayer and roguelite elements. Players will explore two contrasting realms—the advanced city of Nishi Island Metropolis (NIM) and the surreal, dream-like So Mi—using devices called “Re:Volver” to navigate between them. As a Diver, players will uncover hidden treasures while navigating between reality and fantasy, exploring themes of self-discovery. The fully-voiced cast includes diverse characters like Effy, Akira, Ren, and Violet, adding depth to the game’s narrative.
Inspired by 90s and early 00s anime, Starlight Re:Volver mixes Japanese ARPG combat with Western roguelite mechanics, offering explosive four-player co-op battles with unique systems like Magic Combos and terrain-altering Twilight Crystals. The game will also feature large-scale multiplayer servers, allowing players to customize their characters and enjoy minigames alongside friends. With a vibrant, nostalgia-infused world, a rich character progression system, and a signature electro-city pop soundtrack, Starlight Re:Volver promises a dynamic, visually captivating adventure.
