Pathea Games announced the next installment in their My Time at series, My Time At Evershine. This entry follows the release of My Time at Sandrock and My Time at Portia. However, the team plans to innovate on the RPG and life-sim systems for this latest release.
The developer plans to launch a Kickstarter to help fund the project on September 24, but they are committed to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Seris, Nintendo Platforms, and PC.
“My Time at Sandrock cost a lot, like $12-million-a-lot, and still counting, we expect Evershine’s budget to be somewhere in the ballpark as well,” explained Zifei Wu, Creative Director of the My Time series.
“Having extra funding at this early stage of development allows us to plan for bigger and better features, and allows the community to give us direct feedback while we’re still deciding key elements of the game’s design and execution”
My Time at Evershine brings an exciting new chapter to the My Time series, evolving the player’s role from builder to Governor. As the key figure of a new settlement, you’ll manage and expand the city, make impactful decisions, and recruit settlers to help shape the future of your city. While the previous titles focused on handling individual tasks, this sequel allows you to delegate daily responsibilities to NPCs while focusing on broader leadership objectives. The game’s dynamic story-driven campaign, set against the backdrop of ongoing tensions with the Duvos Empire, offers deeper character interactions and romance options.
Featuring expansive new environments and more realistic graphics, My Time at Evershine also introduces multiplayer co-op for the first time, enabling up to four players to collaborate and share resources in real-time. The title’s new gameplay mechanics, including customizable NPCs, meaningful relationships, and the ability to tame a wild frontier, provide fresh layers of strategy and immersion. The addition of mod support ensures players can further enhance and personalize their experience, whether playing solo or with friends.
We’ll keep you updated on the development of My Time At Evershine.
