Kodansha and ginolabo have announced that their roguelite deck builder Fairy Tail: Dungeons is now available on PC via Steam.
A weeklong launch discount is available until September 2, 2024, making the title 20% off.
Fairy Tail: Dungeons features Natsu and Happy exploring a dungeon that appears behind a door that suddenly appears beneath the guild. Within this locale, their powers are sapped, and they meet an Exceed named Labo, who asks for help in locating their missing friend, Arthur. Natsu and Happy agree to aid the search.
The gameplay has cards in a deck used to attack, defend, cast magic, and more, with new cards obtained from battle and treasure chests. Card utilization in specific orders will unleash Magic Chains that unleash greater damage.
Exploring the solo dungeon may lead to other guild members joining Natsu’s and Happy’s efforts. This trek can continue until the lantern goes out, and falling in battle will enable the points you earned to unlock amulets aiding future runs.
On the other hand, the team dungeon will be composed of three characters who have been trained in the solo dungeon. Tomes will empower the team’s stats, and the final boss is a newly designed original character by Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima. Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta is behind the soundtrack.
