Bokeh Game Studio has been making waves since the announcement of their first game, Slitterhead, a horror title that boosts choices being an integral part of the title. Today, Bokeh Game Studios tweeted out a cropped image of some Junji Ito artwork, leading fans to believe that some sort of collaboration with the famous horror Mangaka could be in the pipeline.
The picture (a cropped version of the Tomie cover) means nothing, as this is not an original art piece nor a recreation, as the photo appears to be a physical copy of the manga. This can be seen in the shadows on the lower left of the image, as well as a bright spot that appears to be a flash of a camera going off.
Bokeh Game Studio still hasn’t elaborated on the tweet, so this could be teasing something big being worked on or an employee tweeting about one of their inspirations for Slitterhead.
Only time will tell, but Junji Ito hasn’t been afraid to jump to other mediums, so a collaboration wouldn’t be completely out of the question.

Keiichiro Toyama, the director for the original Silent Hill and Siren, founded Bokeh Game Studio and previously announced the newest horror game they are working on, Slitterhead. The game will feature music from Akira Yamaoko, who composed the soundtrack for multiple Silent Hill titles.
There’s currently no release date for Slitterhead, but we’ll be sure to cover any news surrounding the development of this title. Truthfully, we also don’t know much about the game itself, though when considering the talent behind it, this is undoubtedly an ambitious effort that horror fans will want to keep an eye on.
