FighterZ was made for eSports, Kakarot was for the story, and Xenoverse was for making an avatar in the game world. However, “The focus [in Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero] is to push the limits of how much a player can completely immerse themselves into the world and how intensely [they] can make that [happen].”
Additionally, Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero has been in development for five years, with the in-game environment being emphasized thanks to Unreal Engine 5.

Additionally, the game represents a return to the franchise’s original Japanese naming convention, aligning with how the original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was known as DRAGON BALL Z: Sparking! in Japan.
