Developer and publisher Youyuan has announced their fantasy action RPG Arisen Force: Vonimir, set to launch for PC via Steam in 2024, with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch versions planned for 2025.
Various action systems are in play here, including skill canceling, counters, and the team-based maneuver Odin Sphere. Every character is able to equip four Active skills and utilize their own unique Talents. Additionally, Skill Points earned from level-ups are used to increase the level of equipped Active Skills. Further, Skill Points can also unlock Physics, Magic, and Support special abilities from talent trees.
Weapon variety is emphasized, too, with at least eight types that differ in the air and on the ground, alongside charged attacks and combos. The Off-Set system is a combat feature that makes it so dodging doesn’t reset combos.
During exploration, the Vahalla System will let players interact with the world and characters in several ways, such as speeding up movement, detecting hidden items, and teleporting.
