Binary Haze Interactive, Live Wire, and Adglove have announced that their 2D metroidvania Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on January 23, 2025.
The title is currently available on Steam as Early Access, and pre-orders for physical editions in Japan will begin soon. The physical editions of other regions will be shared at a later date.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is set in the Land of Fumes, a magical superpower home to various magical resources under the surface. Homunculi were crafted as a methodology for advancing the kingdom’s development, but toxic Fumes rose from underground, turning these creatures into uncontrollable monsters.
The protagonist, Lilac, is an Attuner who can save the Homunculi. They wake in an underground laboratory and set out on a quest to regain their lost memories and friends and learn what happened in this region decades after the Rain of Death spelled its ruination.
This 2D action RPG features an enhanced battle system from Ender Lilies with 30 unique skills, upgradable equipment, and difficulty levels catering to several types of players. Prospective players can try the title before its 1.0 release via Steam Early Access.
