Sega has announced that the second episode of the Sonic x Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings prequel animated series is now available.
This second episode, “Finding the Way,” initiates Shadow’s search for answers, eventually resulting in a confrontation between him and his allies against Eggman.
Episode three, “To the Ark,” will be released on October 10. Check out the first episode.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 25, 2024.
Exclusive to PlayStation, players who buy the game on PS4 or PS5 will also receive bonus extended prologue animations with never-before-seen deleted scenes.” The game will also feature a new hub world for Shadow’s story that’s inspired by Sonic Frontiers, where new powers will lead to discovering new secrets.
Pre-orders for the physical edition will grant a Sonic Adventure Legacy Skin and Gerald Robotnik’s Journal detailing Shadow’s Creation.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will grant the Adventure Skin an additional level and skin or Shadow release in Holiday 2024, as well as skill points, an extra BGM pack, and a digital art book and soundtrack. The Terios skin is the bonus one. A Sonic the Hedgehog movie three DLC pack was also confirmed for this edition, containing a new scenario with Keanu Reeves voicing Shadow.
