Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios, has received confirmation of a photo mode via a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Ninja Theory. The post also features four images taken purely within the photo mode from this week.
Earlier this year during Xbox’s Developer_Direct 2024, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II received its release date alongside the reveal that the title would only be available digitally to allow the team to balance the intended experience of a shorter length with a lower price point.
As the sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II brings players back to Senua’s journey of survival to save victims of tyranny. Players will go through this journey while perceiving the world through Senua’s psychosis. Expanding on the first game, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will feature brutal combat and traversal in 10th-century Iceland. Similarly, players will be treated to a strong visual and audio experience, likely best enjoyed with a good headset.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II releases on May 21, 2024, on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
