Voltage has revealed The Red Bell’s Lament in a teaser trailer. This upcoming project was previously known by the codename Vampire Hunter, as it was one of the company’s reveals back in 2023.
The Red Bell’s Lament is a new project that’s part of Voltage’s new console brand AmuLit, focusing on Switch and Steam releases, as opposed to Voltage’s usual mobile-first output. The new game is coming to Nintendo Switch during Spring 2025, though we still have to hear more details about it.
What we do know about the project is that it features a dark fantasy. Our main characters are vampire hunters who used to fight alone but now have to face a dire threat to the world.
The game’s official site teases that humans are “fragile, fleeting, beautiful,” which is likely to be a topic for the narrative. It also confirms full Japanese voice except for the silent protagonist.
The new title features illustrations from Norita, who also worked on Even if Tempest. The story is written by Yuzuki (Paradigm Paradox, Temirana), with director Nachi on the helm. The soundtrack comes from Yamato, and the theme songs “Sakebi -The Freedom You Need-” and “Asakage -The Future We Choose-” will be performed by 9mm Parabellum Bullet.

Besides The Red Bell’s Lament, Voltage is working on two other projects for Nintendo Switch. In the previous project reveal, they had announced titles under the codenames “Neon Mafia” and “Kaleido Tower.”
We’ll be sure to keep you updated as Voltage reveals more information on these projects.
