Amazon Games has released a new trailer for New World: Aeternum, providing a preview of the upcoming MMORPG experience set to launch globally on October 15, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Building upon the foundation of the original New World, released in September 2021, this expansion offers new content, features, and cross-platform gameplay.
New World: Aeternum is an expansive open-world MMO that challenges players to survive and thrive on the mysterious island of Aeternum. Shipwrecked on this supernatural land, you’ll explore a world filled with ancient magic, deadly creatures, and untold riches. As an adventurer stranded without supplies, you must forge your path by fighting, foraging, and building a new life among the island’s dangers.
At the core of New World are its social systems, where players join one of three factions vying for control of the island’s resources and territories. Whether you engage in PvE content by uncovering the island’s secrets or join mass PvP battles, Aeternum is a land shaped by its unique history and the ambitions of its inhabitants.
For Existing Players
Players who already own New World on PC and have purchased the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion will have access to all new content in “New World: Aeternum” at no extra cost. Those without the expansion will need to purchase it to access the full range of new features.
