Fate/Stay Night is a classic visual novel developed by Type-Moon and released exclusively in Japan in 2004. Since then, the game received various ports and enhanced editions over the years. The Fate/Stay Night Remastered release does not have the 18+ scenes from the original PC version.
Since its inception, the series has spanned multiple adaptions to other media, sequels, and popular games. The latest of which was Fate/Samurai Remnant, a partnership between Type-Moon, Aniplex, and Koei Tecmo.
In Fate/Stay Night, we accompany Emiya Shirou, a young man who ends up caught in the middle of the Holy Grail War. This competition has seven mage Masters and heroic figures called Servants fighting brutally for a powerful wish-granting relic.
