The Arcade Crew released a new trailer for the Tako Boy Studios-developed deck-building RPG Cross Blitz, coming to PC via Steam.
The publisher has also confirmed that players eager to test out the systems can jump into the demo during Steam Next Fest to take place June 19 – June 26. The demo finds Redcroft on a quest to find a lost relic with his pirate crew. Players can build decks of cards to suid specific playstyles and strategize against enemies. It’s also possible to visit the shop and fine-tune your deck. The demo ends with a showdown between Redcroft and Grubb, a boss waiting for the pirate to arrive.
Cross Blitz is a 30-hour adventure featuring over 200 cards for players to customize decks and build a party worthy of sailing the seven seas. There’s a narrative full of quirky characters promising a fantasy adventure. The developer has also revealed a roguelike-style mode where players can venture through a randomized map filled with battles and choices to unlock new tools.
