Notes from an official offline Persona 5: The Phantom X event in Shanghai with Sega, Atlus, and Perfect World Games on July 12, 2024, have been released. Producer Lao V, Japanese producer Yosuke Uda, and Atlus character designer Shigenori Soejima were present.
Most notably, the companies confirmed that there are long-term plans in place for Persona series collaborations, with Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, and Persona 4 Golden planned in that order. Persona 5: The Phantom X will also collaborate with other brands offline throughout the year.
Atlus has decided on the outline for the ending of the game’s story, with refinement taking place. Additionally, console versions of the title will happen after the international release.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is being developed by Perfect World Games, the same developers behind Tower of Fantasy. The title features brand-new characters, though it seems familiar faces will return. Plus, the new characters also have Phantom Thief attire, so the roots of Persona 5 have seemingly been retained.
Persona 5: The Phantom X features new music by Lyn, and it achieved over two million pre-registrations, with new artwork shared by Shigenori Soejima.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is available on mobile devices in Asia.
