IzanagiGames and MyDearest released a free demo for their sci-fi visual novel Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate – Dual Edition on Steam. The demo will support VR and non-VR modes and will allow players to play through the prologue chapter, with around 2 hours of gameplay. Further, save data will be transferable to the full game when it’s available.
Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate – Dual Edition is a visual novel adventure set in a distant future. This award-winning title combines all three episodes into one seamless experience, allowing players to dive deep into a story of mystery and intrigue. As Special Supervisor Hal Scion, players possess the unique ability to rewrite the past, a skill essential for solving a theoretically impossible murder in the almost crime-free marine city of Astrum Close. With the city’s future hanging in the balance, marked by a premonition of its destruction in seven days, players are challenged to change destiny’s course.
The game introduces a rich, interactive game system where players can employ Memory Diving to alter past events, navigate through Augmented Dreaming’s digital realms, and seek guidance from Lily, the navigation robot. The journey involves collecting clues, solving intricate puzzles, and engaging in high-stakes stealth to evade imminent dangers. Players are tasked with reenacting the crime using gathered evidence and presenting theories to an AI jury, aiming to prove their case conclusively.
