Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition has received a launch trailer from the official Square Enix YouTube page to celebrate the remaster’s release on consoles and PC today.
The launch trailer gives players a look at the turn-based gameplay of the title, with various characters performing flashy special attacks. There also seems to be a typo around 24 seconds in, which says “Featuruing over 40 playable characters,” instead of “Featuring.”
Chrono Cross follows Serge, who has just entered another world where he learns about the connection between his existence and the future of his planet. The game transcends time as players head out on an adventure friendship while meeting a massive cast of over 40 potential party members.

Be sure to check out our video review below, as well as our full written review, where we said: “I understand that there are massive Chrono Trigger fans who dislike this title, and while that’s fair, I think diving into this game again with a more open mind will surprise you. Instead of treating it as a failed Chrono Trigger sequel and more of its own beast with connective tissue, I promise you’ll find a fulfilling time here.”
