The official Japanese Twitter account of the Kirby series just showcased two previously not included copy abilities that will appear in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, a Nintendo Switch port of the original Wii title. Furthermore, a new mode known as Magolor’s Wonderland, where you play a variety of attractions, was also showcased via the official website.
The first copy ability is titled Sand. As its name implies, players can manipulate sand in all sorts of ways and even create sand castles and mini tornados.
The second copy ability is Festivale, which will defeat all enemies currently on screen but will vanish after a single use.
Lastly, in the new Magolor’s Wonderland mode, up to 4 players can play ten unique attractions and obtain items that can be used while on an adventure, such as Maxim Tomatoes that will fully heal Kirby’s health or special masks from popular characters from the Kirby series.
In Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, the tough puff Kirby is back for a 4-player platforming adventure. Copy enemies’ abilities and use their power to attack with a sword, wield a whip, and float with a parasol. You can also laser blast with the new Mecha Copy Ability that makes a series debut! Help Magolor find the missing pieces for his ship, which crash-landed on Planet Popstar.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe will launch for Nintendo Switch on February 24, 2023.
