Nintendo has announced that four SNES titles have joined its Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription service.
The four added titles are –Battletoads Double Dragon, Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen’in Shūgō, COSMO GANG THE PUZZLE, and Big Run.
Sans Battletoads, these are all pretty niche titles, so it’s neat to see them exposed to a vaster audience.
Double Dragon Revive will be released in 2025 release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Double Dragon Revive is set 15 years after the end of the nuclear war, where survivors have built colonies worldwide. However, the concept of being a country has been lost, with those in power now governing colonies, politics, and laws.
One of these colonies, on the coast, is ruled by the Shadow Warriors gang. Since they took control, the gap between the rich and poor has grown fiercer, making those in the slums live harder lives than ever. Additionally, rumors of mysterious disappearances abound.
The Lee brothers, the masters of the Sosetsuken, live in a corner of this city with their childhood friend, Marian. The honest younger brother Billy and the free-spirited older brother Jimmy find the Sosetsuken dojo they inherit, aiming to rid the city’s schemes.
