Nintendo has posted a new trailer for the upcoming and highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom ahead of its launch later this month.
Besides recapping previously elucidated information regarding the overall gameplay loop revolving around echoes and the Still World, various regions throughout Hyrule are highlighted briefly, alongside various side activities that players can anticipate.
In the Still World, within the rifts, trees, fragments of land, people, and other items swallowed by the rifts float through the void.
Exploration here requires Zelda to traverse floating terrain, making the Echoes immensely useful for investigation. Dungeons are also present throughout the Still World, with their own bosses.
Strange rifts have appeared across Hyrule, taking away many, including Link. Zelda meets a fairy called Tri, who gives her the Tri Rod to save her kingdom. Zelda can create imitations of objects called echoes, letting her recreate them whenever she likes. This will be used for creative puzzle-solving.
Echoes of monsters can be made, too, and they can help you during combat. Ultimately, player freedom is at the core of this experience.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be released for Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024.
