After revealing new gameplay footage and screenshots for the upcoming turn-based RPG Mario & Luigi Brothership, Nintendo has uploaded a brief new trailer.
This latest video highlights the world of Concordia. Additionally, pre-orders are available digitally and physically via the Switch eShop.
Mario & Luigi Brothership was announced for a November 7, 2024 release on Nintendo Switch. Since the closing of Alpha Dream, the Mario & Luigi series was thought to have ceased entirely. This is the first new entry in almost nine years.
Players can anticipate a sea-faring adventure across various islands. Further, the staple combat of the series is back with turn-based moves, featuring Mario and Luigi performing maneuvers with dedicated buttons. Exploration also seems to be fairly integral, just like previous entries.
This entry features Mario and Luigi setting sail on Shipshape Island, where they can launch out of its cannon to explore various locations, ranging from rainforests to cities. New allies include Connie and Snoutlet, while familiar characters are Bowser and Peach. During combat, Bros. Attacks are used as du maneuvers to catch foes off guard and deal immense damage in rapid succession if the required button inputs are successful.
We’ll keep you all updated on this incoming project.
