Nintendo Japan has unveiled new character artwork, gameplay footage, and screenshots for the upcoming turn-based RPG Mario & Luigi Brothership ahead of its release in two months.
These new images can be viewed via our gallery below. Note that the information has solely been shared in Japanese, so the naming of certain characters and terms may be altered for the English release. For more details, you can view the official preview page on Nintendo Japan.
Further, two new videos of combat have surfaced. You can view one below and the other from this article’s header.
Mario & Luigi Brothership was announced for a November 7, 2024 release on Nintendo Switch. Since the closing of Alpha Dream, the Mario & Luigi series was thought to have ceased entirely. This is the first new entry in almost nine years.
Players can anticipate a sea-faring adventure across various islands. Further, the staple combat of the series is back with turn-based moves, featuring Mario and Luigi performing maneuvers with dedicated buttons. Exploration also seems to be fairly integral, just like previous entries.
We’ll keep you all updated on this incoming project.
