RedDeer Games announced the EinzelartigGames-developed indie action platformer Inukari: Chase of Deception on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on March 18, 2022.
Inukari: Chase of Deception is set in a world where exploitation, consumerism, and enrichment are taking over the lands. As the protector of nature, players will need to stop this from destroying the ancient forest. So, there’s no better way to do that than to set off on a quest and fight a bunch of bad guys.
The game features three worlds, each with eight challenging levels. Further, each world has a boss that requires a high amount of skill to defeat. Players will need to run through the levels, jump, attack, and navigate the environments like any retro platformer. The game is made to be easy to pick up but features some high degree of knowledge of the genre.
The game’s 8-bit design mirrors retro games from the Nintendo era of gaming. There is also a story that is revealed throughout each stage.
