As video game adaptations make their way to televisions and movie theaters, so too have adaptations been making their way onto consoles and PCs alike. In a day and age where original IP may be considered a risk from a publishing standpoint, the ability to work with an established IP does help to alleviate concerns as any potential adaptations will come with an established audience.
