NekoNyan has opened the Steam store page for Happiness! Sakura Celebration!. The galge visual novel by developer Windmill Oasis is coming to PC in September 2024, though the company will reveal the specific release date later.
Also known as Happiness! 2 Sakura Celebration! in Japan, the game tells the story of Ichijou Kazuki. He’s a magician with strong physical skills and twin younger sisters.
In the game, cherry blossoms are blooming all over town. This event only happens every 10 years, making it the Year of the Cherry Blossoms. These times remind people of various wishes they hold dear.
The main heroines in Happiness! Sakura Celebration! include Kazuki’s sister Shizuki, who’s voiced by Anzu Mitsu (Renai x Royale’s Nonoka, Tamayura Mirai’s Shiro). We also have the shrine maiden Kokonoe Fuuko, whose seiyuu is Haruka Sora (Primal Heart’s Sera).
Sakakibara Yui (Chaos;Head’s Ayase) voices Himekawa Karen, a blonde transfer student who wants to make people happy with magic. Finally, we also have the cheerful class rep Kirigaya Rino, whose voice actress is Naruse Mia (Nekopara’s Azuki).
Besides those which he gets a chance to get intimate with, there are also other relevant girls who are considered “main characters” in the game’s VNDB list. These include the protagonist’s other sister, Ichijou Mizuki, and the magician kouhai Mikagari Mashiro.
