Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land occurs in a world where alchemy has become taboo and is considered evil. Protagonist Yumia Liessfeldt and her companions aim to discover the truth surrounding the fall of the Aladissian Empire, which was once quite proficient in alchemy. The protagonist also lost her mother in an accident during her youth.
The team also seeks to uncover memories of the empire’s lost history. Yumia will traverse a ruined continent while confronting the uncertainties of her past and creating her own path to understanding the cataclysm that caused the empire’s fall. Interestingly, Yumia’s mother hid her identity as an alchemist, which has caused her to discover why.
Combat is real-time, with two types of attack ranges. Players can switch between skills to fight strategically. Synthesized items can transform into shapes like swords or spears for attacking. Further, these items are reusable.
Materials for synthesis can be gathered during exploration and combat. But this entry will let you craft without returning to base thanks to the Simple Synthesis feature, as well as being able to build, furnish, and decorate your own base with the new Building feature.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 21, 2025.
