Bandai Namco released the first trailer for their upcoming tactical RPG fighter Black Clover: Fantasy Knights, coming to iOS and Android in 2018 in Japan.
Black Clover: Fantasy Knights feattures an original story centered around Diene who was once friends with the Magic Emperor. The game’s systems have players defending a kingdom with their units as they choose their party formations in order to stop the approaching enemies.
Depending on these formations, units will gain additional power and attacks. However, during battles, the player is able to change the formation of the characters and in order to launch an offensive attack during any point of the battle.
Although short, the trailer does show enough gameplay t0 give players a preview of some of the character’s battle animations and move sets. Additionally, the flow of the gameplay can be seen as the player will move units and take on enemies in various waves of difficulty.
Currently, there is no western release date planned for Black Clover: Fantasy Knights.
Black Clover: Fantasy Knights is in development for iOS and Android and set to release in 2018 in Japan.
