Ubisoft revealed the release date for their upcoming Far Cry 5 DLC titled “Lost on Mars” available on July 17.
Lost on Mars will take players away from the insane confines of Hope County and transport them to Mars. Players will take control of Nick Rye as he was innocently driving through the country roads. The story will feature a new arsenal of alien weaponry, including the Obliteratorrrr, Taser Phazer Annihilazer, Nerve Reaper, Grape Popper, and Hellfire, while also introducing a new traversal tool with Space Jets.
Lost on Mars is available as part of Far Cry 5’s Season Pass and Gold Edition, the game will cost $9.99 for all other owners.
Additionally, players will also gain access to a group of Mars-themed assets in Far Cry Arcade. The Mars Update map builders will also be able to integrate the new assets into their maps or even create a variety of other sci-fi-themed maps.
Upcoming add-ons will include additional assets which will be added to Far Cry Arcade for free. The final Far Cry 5 DLC titled “Dead Living Zombies” will launch in August alongside the new assets for map builder tools.
Far Cry 5 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
