Today Merge announced that the 13AM Games developed platformer Runbow will receive a physical release on PlayStation 4 on August 10 in Europe. The game will also release physically on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America on August 14.
Runbow can be a challenging platformer but does include a variety of game modes and difficulties for new players to get the hang of. The title also features 5 game modes for up to 8 players local and online play including Run, Arena, or King of the Hill. Players will be able to platform through 140 maps which vary in difficulty while choosing their own path to save Poster District from the evil Satura. Additionally, the title has a handful of customization options that allow players to change the style and clothing of their characters, which includes some beloved indie game characters such as Shovel Knight, CommanderVideo, Shantae, and Lilac.
Runbow also features a handful of collectibles to be acquired throughout the game, which unlocks gallery items and concept art.
Runbow can be preordered now from Europe based distributor Signature Edition Games for PlayStation 4 and Switch. The title is available now on Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo DS, and digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
