UDON Entertainment has unveiled the covers of several comics that are planned to be promoted exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
Firstly, Darkstalkers #1 – 20th Anniversary Edition is a replica of the original Darkstalkers #1, with “the original main story by Ken Siu-Chong and Alvin Lee (Deadpool), and the original back-up story by Siu-Chong Mark Brooks (Amazing Spider-Man).” A classic cover gallery and new cover illustrations will be available, too, and the book will not be available in most direct-market stores. Comic-Con goers can obtain this comic early.
Secondly, the 2024 Street Fighter & Friends Swimsuit Special #1 is shown off, depicting ladies from the sourced franchise as well as Darkstalkers, Power Stone, Star Gladiator, Captain Commando, Rival Schools, and other classic Capcom fighting games and beat-em-ups. San Diego Comic-Con will offer two connecting covers by Genzoman for $20 USD each.
Lastly, a jam cover featuring ” some of the most beloved ladies in fighting games by Long, Chamba, and Edwin” was unveiled ahead of EVO.
