Yen Press has released I Don’t Know How To Give Birth in the west for $15, physical copies are available from Amazon.
Written by manga creator, Ayami Kazam, readers are taken on a humorous journey that follows a manga artist on her maternal adventure. Throughout the story, she learns the ins-and-outs of pregnancy and childbirth, along with silly things such as finding comfy maternity underwear.
The story is heartfelt and humorous as readers get a look into this zany situation. Yes, this story is on the autobiographical side, as Kazami-san reflects on her own experiences when trying to understand childbirth.
Kazami-san has previously worked on other manga titles, including Boku no Tsukuru Sekai and Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elma’s Office Lady Diary.
In case you missed it, Yen Press has recently announced that they have acquired 13 new licenses for western publication, including Grim Reaper and Four Girlfriends Omnibus Edition and Interspecies Reviewers Comic Anthology: Darkness. The publisher is also gearing up for the August release of Fiancé of the Wizard, Vol. 1, Final Fantasy I * II * III: Memory of Heroes, and Interspecies Reviewers, Vol. 1: Ecstasy Days.
