Yen Press announced that the Sekiro Side Story: Hanbei the Undying manga will launch on June 23 for purchase.
Sekiro Side Story: Hanbei the Undying is the first part of a manga series inspired by the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice video game. Reading this manga will surely be easier than playing the game for those who wish to enjoy the lore of the series, without the difficulty.
The story follows a man named Hanbie the Undying, who has lived longer than most but has found no sense of purpose and no reason to swing his blade. Readers will understand this story and who he was before he met the Wolf.
This side story will be a two-part series and is available for pre-order now on Amazon. The story’s author is Shin Yamamoto who also worked on the art. Yamamoto-san has previously worked on Monster Hunter: Senkou no Kariudo and Naraku no Adu.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a single-player action game where players must use shinobi skills to take down tough enemies. The game features large environments and towering boss battles that have players beating at their controllers to progress.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
