I had the pleasure to live in Lisbon for a little less than a year. It is truly an amazing and charming city, but unfortunately quickly turning expensive for locals. The alternative is to go across the river Tejo to Costa Caparica where prices are still affordable.
The people, the culture, the food (Bacalhau!!!) make it a special place!

I tried it the other friday and was great fun. Amazing hospitality at the vineyard and the bikes and sailing were great too. You can book via Rezdy.

I lived in Athens for six months and it is definitely the best experience of my life. Gazi is incredible area with all the clubs and creative wall arts. The first place I have been was 360 Degrees Cocktail Bar. But Six Dogs is the magnificent one.

I totally agree with what you said that travelling can give you a new perspective in life that can be healthy for your mental health. Ever since I graduated in college, I never had a major vacation. I just went up, did a couple of job interviews and eventually got hired. Since then, I’ve been working tirelessly so that I can have the ideal future that I want to have. Reading your article was very moving because it made me realize that I need a breather. I’ll definitely find a great vacation rental soon. Finally, I can relax and take a break from the busy life in the city.

Dear Vanessa:
We are planning a Paris trip in May, hopefully no COVID, and poured through your book. It am so intrigued by all the special sights to visit. I do have a suggestion for the next publication. Many times after closing the book you think of a place and it is difficult to find since there is no page index. One thought would be in the “What’s Near Me” index that you append to each of the mentioned sights the page in the book where a one can read about the sight, the location and hours. Thanks again for all your work.
