Bit Egg announced that they have been developing a mecha RPG titled Zecha Tactics with a planned Steam Early Access release in 2021.
Zecha Tactics is a mecha tactics game with RPG systems and mercenary outfit management. The game features a turn-based battle system where players place troops on the battlefield to strategize their march on enemy units. There is a single-player focus campaign with a world map and ways to interact with your crew. Additionally, players can convince enemies to join their cause and upgrade and customize their mecha, carrier, and home base.
Zecha Tactics’ story takes place on the distant planet of Aldsan-Od, which is ruled by the immortal overlord, Gurgalal. Even on a planet with such harsh living conditions, something is on the planet that everyone wants. An opportunity comes by way of the Galactic Federation; the existing order quickly becomes twisted beyond repair. New factions with long-dormant ambitions arise from the chaos, fighting to seize control.
Now, players will need to build up their crew and face off against some powerful foes.
