PlayStation took to their official Twitter account to announce an all-new Hogwarts Legacy-focused State of Play presentation will be happening later this week, not long after last week’s State of Play presentation.
Set to take place on Thursday, March 17 at 2 PM PT/5PM ET on the official PlayStation YouTube and Twitch accounts, this State of Play will give fans a deep first look at the gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy. The presentation will last for around 20 minutes, with approximately 14 minutes of gameplay captured from a PS5.
Finally, PlayStation said in their PlayStation.Blog post about the event to check out the blog afterward for a “special post” that will “add a little more context” to what will be shown during the State of Play.

The title has had quite a bit of conversation focused on it this past year, primarily based on how little news came out regarding the game. Given it’s currently set to release within this year for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, the lack of news has concerned some fans.
This is especially true following reports that it was delayed to 2023, and additional reports saying the game will, in fact, still release this year. It seems like this Thursday, we’ll likely get more of a clue as to which of these reports ended up being correct.
